They made an announcement at the end of the game - a 30,000 crowd with 1,500 rangers - the same figure mentioned by YorkRanger:

30,000 my arse, saw at least 3000 vacant seats, capacity of 30,750. Lord Lucans a season ticketer, too. I've grown to despise that club with a passion. In a city population of 250,000 who have denied Whitehawk FC any use of the name Brighton in naming the growing Club.
Whitehawk 8 days week, Albion can fck off. For a Club that lost their Ground they dont half act like pikeys when it comes to competition. I loathe them.

Cool, but I wasn't responding to your comment; it was a general observation

I was quite impressed with the Amex. The design is interesting, and most of the seats aren't too far from the pitch, so it feels quite cozy. Having said that I don't think that kind of design would suit us as we need a more compact stadium that would fit in in an urban area.

The only thing I didn't like was in the stand we were in the seats at the front are at quite a low angle (same as at the Emirates) so you didn't get a particularly good view of the game because you are too low down. It looked like the seats on the other side of the ground were at a much steeper angle.

Not having a dedicated station is a big problem which they have solved (for now) by having loads of stewards to marshall the fans queuing up to get on the trains.

Season before last they were saying not ready for the Prem yet, hoping public money would pay for a station they never invested in, cant wait for Manure and the scum away. Biggest w4nker club in the league.
